This is the place to start if you’re new here and wondering
about all things Sixth Avenue.

Who We Are

We are a community of people worshiping, welcoming all, and serving in the spirit of Christ. Our folks are warm & friendly when you meet them and soon you find out that their hearts beat for the underserved and marginalized.

Our facility is a sacred space and also a shared space. It currently houses a Montessori preschool, AA groups, education organizations, a yoga studio, a dance studio, an artist studio, event space and more!

As a church we’ve been making an impact in Denver for over 100 years and are just getting started!

Where We Are

We gather every Sunday @ 10am in a classic, 100-year old building with giant stained glass windows. They are stunning and illuminate the warm & welcoming environment inside.

What To Expect

We want your first experience at Sixth Avenue to be one to remember…in a good way! Our building is accessible and our folx are friendly. Our desire is for you to be comfortable and feel at home. You may be wondering about a few things, so here are some questions we hear from time to time.

  • COMFORTABLE! Our time together is relaxed yet energetic and our community is warm and friendly.

We have a variety of music (classical, jazz, bluegrass, pop, and even some traditional church hymns), Our preaching aims to provide inspiration and clarity to what matters in life – what means to follow in the ways of Jesus in the times we live.  We celebrate all ages and make time to hear how children understand their faith, and we celebrate communion once a month where we truly welcome all people to the table.

Come try us on and see if we fit!

  • IF ONLY! While we don't have a parking lot, we do have reserved, accessible spots on the street right in front of the building and additional parking is always less a block away in our delightful neighborhood.

  • YES! YES! YES! However you fill in the blank, you'll find our community to be open and welcoming and doing our best to walk in the ways of Jesus by seeing the Divine in everyone.
