Special Offerings within the United Church of Christ help us to be a part of changing lives locally and globally through the efforts of our church. Here are five ways to be involved.
“Our Church’s Wider Mission”
Basic Support: Provides funding from congregations for the Rocky Mountain Conference and our national ministries.
Special Support for issues related to justice, advocacy, and compassion include the following opportunities.
“One Great Hour of Sharing” which channels recourses for international programs related to health, education, agricultural development, emergency relief, the care of refugees, and national and international disaster relief work.
“Strengthen the Church” supports leadership for new and revitalizing congregations as well as youth and young adult programs and leadership development.
“Neighbors in Need” supports ministries of justice and compassion in the USA including the Council for American Indian Ministries.
“The Christmas Fund” helps to provide pension and health premium supplements for retired clergy and church workers as well as assistance to clergy families in need.
