Bring your kids and invite your friends to bring their kids! Sixth Avenue has a wonderful children's program! Teachers are available to do projects with the children every Sunday. Projects are fun and educational, and thanks to the really cool workbooks we have, there are projects for all ages of children. Nursery care is available for children younger than three years old.
Our 10:30 Sunday morning worship service is informal, presents a thoughtful and explorative approach to the Christian faith, often inspires laughter, and includes meditation and a variety of music, both traditional and contemporary. We celebrate an inclusive communion the first Sunday of every month, and we invite you to bring with you what this meal means to you. After worship, we enjoy a social hour of food and friendship.
Do I have to dress up?
No…but you can if you want to. As in everything else, we show diversity in clothing!
What about my kids?
We are a child-friendly church. We have a child-centered program happening at the same time as our worship service. Children are also welcome in worship if they choose. Our sanctuary even has a glassed-in area with a sound system and toys, so you can see and hear the service while you entertain your little ones.
